"Westbound"

"Westbound" was completed in the 90's. Just a gal's leg & a bike. Kind of Sexy, kind of Mechanical. A nice mix. I've only done 3 black and white paintings in my career. All sold immediately. They have an older feel, like black & white photographs, and this piece looks kind of Old West. The Black & Whites are challenging to paint as you're working only with shades of grey. A full color painting gives you a broader pallette of colors. This piece was originally sold to a couple in New Jersey. Last I heard it was damaged and probably lost over time.
