The Flying Myrkle

The Flying Myrkle

$2,000.00

An American Motorcycle manufactured from 1911-1915 cost  $325.00  when new and recently sold for over $423,000.00. This 997 Cubic inch race bike produced roughly 10 HP and is painted in the companies signature Orange which became known as" Myrkle Orange". A stunning example of turn of the century American Craftsmanship!

The Orange took several coats of paint highlighted with Gold Leaf lettering. The contrasting blue of the motor, off white tires, and black background, make this piece 3 dimensional and it jumps off the wall. It's always a focal point at my art exhibitions and a top seller.

The Original Painting is in a corporate collection in Phoenix AZ. 2015 C
