A 90's commissioned painting from Daytona Bike Week. This Doctor (Gynecologist) wants his bike painted and asks me, "who's good with colors?" I said me! He say's no, Tie Designers. He had his bike painted like his favorite Gucci Tie.  WTF  So I take his money and paint the ugliest paint scheme I've ever seen.

It was horrible. No matter what I did, I couldn't make this ugly bike look good. I felt like a whore, just doing it for money. After this experience I decided to not do commissions, no matter what price, unless I really liked the bike or car. I don't want to be arrogant, but I can't work, paint, for months on something I can't fix or be happy with. The Doctor was thrilled and loved the painting.
