Down & Dirty

One of John Shope's Dirty Bird Customs, was the subject for this piece. Slammed to the ground with a 30" front wheel, John's bikes are unique in the custom world. Interesting to see the design changes over time. Slammed softails, to choppers, to big wheel bikes.

I've been painting the evolution of Motorcycles in the final decade before they all go electric. Documenting Motorcycling and I didn't even realize it. Once bikes are electric and no there are no cool motors to paint, no heart so to speak, I think I'll retire!
