Black Shadow

The Vincent Black Shadow is regarded as the first Superbike capable of reaching speeds of 125mph. Manufactured from 1948 - 1955 this engineering masterpiece had numerous design features never used before and not duplicated until the 70's. Look closely and find Vincent like a figure with a Black Shadow and several Bats. I had the honor of hearing one run inside The Barber Museum at their Motorcycles by Moonlight dinner. Impressive sounding bike!
