Laughlin

Laughlin

$250.00

Laughlin is a small gambling town on the Arizona, Nevada, border that turns into a bikers mecca each April. When this event was rolling in the 90's -2000, I was the official artist and created several paintings in this series. This was the first. They were used as prints, T shirts, advertisements, coozies, and various products. This Laughlin series got me on the news several times and both Betty & Don Laughlin requested to meet me. That was a good time in my life. We were rolling with the big dogs. The bike is period correct to the custom builds of the time. The Laughlin skyline has changed slightly as the smoke stack from the power plant is gone. The desert nights still cast a purple haze in the summer heat. Laughlin is still there, the bike event is gone. Painting motorcycle history and I didn't know it.

The Original Painting is in a private collection in Milwaukee WI. 2001
